On 11 February 2023, the Museum of Transology invited 14 Trans Pride organisations from across the UK and Ireland to meet as a collective for the first time in transcestry.  

Trans Pride UK was born. 

As a collective, we committed to learning lessons from the queer past, by deliberately planning ahead to avoid the pitfalls of neo-liberal corporatisation of pride and the external overconsumption of our culture at its own cost. 

As a collective, Trans Pride UK aims to foster grassroots organising skills, share best protest practice, protect our community values and save our stories. We agree to prioritise heritage over hedonism.
